July 2021 Stay in Colby
After leaving Scott City we headed Northwest towards Colby Kansas, making a stop in Oakley to view the Buffalo Bill exhibit. Pretty cool sized statue if I must say.
Stayed in Colby, KS with our cousins Ed & Kathi. Learned to not chase after the dog when she takes off after the chickens – or if you do don’t try ducking under the 5th wheel hitch to catch her.
Chanel had some new experiences at this stop. She was introduced to her first chicken (alive that is), met her first kitten and made some new friends.
We had a great few days with Ed & Kathi, including accompanying them to watch them shoot clay pigeons (no, they are NOT real pigeons lol). It allowed us to see some other beauty while watching the trapshoot
We couldn’t end the post without including the vehicle we saw as we stopped to fill up with diesel for the next leg of our journey. 🙂
